Anonymous touched your bum and said:

I'm sorry, but did you seriously just reblog a Holocaust Remembrance post - one containing a photo of wedding rings taken from Holocaust victims that were mercilessly slaughtered in Nazi concentration camps in one of the most horrific events in human history - and use it to talk about slash fanfiction? Seriously? What the everloving fuck is wrong with you?

Actually, you know. Absolutely fucking nothing. Talking about slash is my coping mechanism, and what I talked about Erik going through is what I went through. I honestly talked to two or three people privately, and said ‘I feel really really bad that I would put this with an idea I have, and I don’t even want to write it,’

But what’s wrong with you? To think of it as slash first and foremost? Did you read the content of the idea? It has more to do with a personal crisis over beliefs and historical connections between someone who is Jewish and something that happened to their people. I would have just as easily done it with original characters - but why, when Erik is Jewish?

I ship Cherik, so it isn’t my fault that I would put Charles in there somewhere. It could even be viewed as a friendship story, if you genuinely wanted to.

I wasn’t taking the situation lightly, and honestly, I’m pretty offended by this because its pretty ignorant of you to think so. Everyone deals with content like this differently, so what the everloving fuck is wrong with you for assuming that, just because I’m not sobbing everywhere and clawing my eyes out with angst all over my blog, that I’m not affected?

Once again, fic is how I cope. So, good on you for getting mad at someone for dealing with issues differently.
