I did a manip for Charles and Erik in my fic Practice in Futility

This would probably be set a little later on in the fic, a day following Erik working an extremely long shift and then going out with Charles for a little bit.

anyway. anyone is free to use this for a photofic as long as y’know… its done in reblog. :C  I meant it for my fic, but that doesn’t mean you can’t interpret it the way you want! :D

Very few people really ask about Erik. He just showed up one day - not long after Shaw and his Hellfire crew were killed when the Xavier Family took over the city 10 years ago. Back then, he didn’t speak much English, and followed the Xavier’s son around like a second shadow.

A lot has changed since those first few years, and a lot more has changed since the Xaviers died and their son, Charles, took his seat as the head of the Family.

Not much has changed between Charles and Erik, though.

Charles doesn’t ever say much to Erik. Then again, he doesn’t speak much to anyone — unless you catch him at the right time. Erik’s gotten used to his bouts of silence, the way Charles scowls at his missed targets and tries to calculate which shot caused what hole. Erik’s known a lot of hitmen, but not many who would - not only save the life of a practical stranger - but take him them an underling and teach him how to survive. He owes Charles more than he could ever repay, but he’s beginning to think that his company is all Charles really could ever want.
